Surviving the Aftermath is a fairly impressive entry in the management sim genre, and it makes good use of its post-apocalyptic setting to present a hardcore and challenging experience. Unfortunately, the world is an unforgiving and deadly place. In charge of a group of desperate folks, players must steadily build up their resources as they seek to establish a colony that can serve as their new homes. Surviving the Aftermath provides a slightly different package than most by focusing on rebuilding a population rather than a lone wolf who is trying to shoot their way through hordes of enemies. The apocalypse is a popular topic in fiction, and gaming is no exception.
